The Provincetown Town Hall is a historic building and is a resource for the community.  The second floor auditorium ballroom is a major cultural, functional, and historic asset to the Town for events and programs. There is a theatrical stage, a beautiful wood floor and wrap around balcony for seating.   

The restored Town Hall and Auditorium is a multi-use venue hosting meetings, weddings and receptions, Fundraising Gala Dinners, the Provincetown International Film Festival, the Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival, Broadway stars, theatrical productions, music concerts, art shows and craft fairs, dance performances, conferences, and lectures in a unique setting. Paintings from the town's large collection by local artists hang in its corridors, offices and meeting rooms. The Town Hall is the seat of Provincetown's government.

The almost 135 year old building was   dedicated on August 25, 1886 and after a two year restoration beginning in 2008 it was reopened in November 20, 2010.

 Reservations 

The auditorium may be reserved a maximum of 18 months in advance but not less than 30 days prior to the event, nor 60 days prior to the event if alcohol is served.

 Capacity

The permitted rental occupancy of the Town Hall Auditorium is as follows: Auditorium Floor- chairs only: 428 persons (420 seats and 8 wheelchair spaces); Balcony: 280 persons; total 708 persons. Tables with chairs: 270 (wedding receptions, Gala dinners, conferences, etc.)

 Deposit 

Reservations require a deposit of 100% of the Rental Fee accompanied by a completed and signed application form submitted to the Event Coordinator.
