Treasury Management & Tax-Title Administration

The Treasurer is the custodian of all funds held by the Town of Provincetown, and is responsible for the management of all Town bank accounts, investments, and financial relationships. The Treasurer is also the Tax-Title Custodian who manages all delinquent real estate taxes after a lien has been placed on a property. Additional responsibilities of this office include debt management, fund reconciliation, and consistently ensuring proper safety, liquidity, and yield of all Town accounts.

Gift Funds: View a listing and description of Gift Funds operated by the Town of Provincetown, and make a tax deductible donation for a variety of purposes that enhance our community.

Tax Title Report: View the most recent report detailing the current delinquent taxes owed to the Town of Provincetown. These outstanding taxes accrue interest at a rate of 16% annually, and failure to pay (or failure to enter into a payment agreement with the Treasurer) can result in foreclosure. Please contact the Treasurer for an accurate payoff amount for any Tax Title property. (Updated as of November 5, 2021)

Abandoned Property: This is the most recent listing of all vendors and employees of the Town of Provincetown who have outstanding checks that they have not cashed. If you appear on the list, please complete the Abandoned Property Claim Form and return it to the Treasurer to request a replacement check.
