Water Rates for November 16, 2008 through April 14, 2009; Change in Length of Peak and Off-Peak Billing Periods

On February 18, 2009 the Provincetown Water and Sewer Board held a public hearing and voted, pursuant to MGL c. 40, §39J, to amend the length of the peak and off-peak billing periods as set forth below. Also on February 18, 2009 the Board of Selectmen voted, pursuant to MGL c. 40, §22F, to approve the recommendation of the Water and Sewer Board. This change extends the current off-peak billing period and the effective date of the off-peak rates shown below through April 14, 2009. This change also establishes a peak billing period running from April 15 through October 15 and an off-peak billing period running from October 16 through April 14.

November 16, 2008 through April 14, 2009: Current Off-Peak Period—Date Change Only

0 to 15,000 gallons for the period	$50.00 Minimum Charge
16,000 to 40,000 gallons for the period	$5.00 per additional 1,000 gallons
41,000 to 100,000 gallons for the period	$7.00 per additional 1,000 gallons
Over 100,000 gallons for the period	$9.00 per additional 1,000 gallons
