You can help ensure that Cape Cod' natural resources are available for generations to come.

Cape Cod's Sole Source Aquifer the groundwater beneath the surface, is the only source of drinking water for Cape Cod residents and visitors.

The Aquifer supplies freshwater to over 145 public drinking water supply wells, 365 lakes and ponds, hundreds of wetlands and vernal pools, and 45 coastal embayments.

Cape Cod water use is over 23 million gallons a day during the off season and over 45 million gallons a day during the summer.
