Provincetown Stars Music CD

MUSIC CD SUPPORTS FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS IN PROVINCETOWN

The Provincetown Tourism Office has begun a new initiative both to share the musical talent of Cape Cod and to fund Provincetown’s Fourth of July Fireworks.  The first volume of “Provincetown Stars” will be sold with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Town of Provincetown Fourth of July Fireworks Gift Fund.

The music CD features 13 tracks and an impressive collection of extraordinary musicians:

Produced by Provincetown resident and musical impresario Bart Weisman and funded by the Provincetown Tourism Fund, each of the musicians has generously donated their songs for this project.  “I am very proud of this CD project,” says Mr. Weisman, “and I am honored to help our Town fund the Fourth of July Fireworks.  These musicians represent various styles of music and showcase the talent of the artists who perform in Provincetown year-round.”

Proceeds from the sale of Provincetown Stars will be used to finance the annual Fourth of July fireworks celebrations.

Fourth of July Fireworks Gift Fund. Make a tax-deductible donation to the Town of Provincetown's Fireworks Gift Fund. The Board of Selectmen voted on March 27, 1995 to establish a special gift fund pursuant to MGL C.44,s.53A "for the annual Fourth of July Fireworks display." Donations to this Fund will only be used for Fourth of July celebrations. Monies can only be expended from a gift fund by vote of the Board of Selectmen for the purposes for which the fund was established.
