Provincetown Town Manager

Yesterday, the President of the United States of America proclaimed today, Friday, September 14, 2001, as a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance for the Victims of the Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001. His proclamation asks that this day be marked with noontime memorial services, the ringing of bells at that hour, and evening candlelight remembrance vigils.

This is our community’s observance, this is our opportunity for Provincetown to remember the victims of terrorism in this first act of war in this new century.

We are grateful to all who volunteered their services on such short notice to bring about today's program, "Provincetown Remembers."
