PURPOSE:  The primary purpose of the Provincetown Police Department is to provide a consistently high level of customer service to all citizens.  We preserve the peace, reduce opportunity for crime, protect the safety and security of all persons, mitigate losses and do so in a friendly, courteous, respectful manner.
