New Transfer Station Fees

The Provincetown Board of Health held a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 5:00p.m. in Caucus Hall, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, Massachusetts, to discuss and take action on the request for the following new procedures and fees:

Tires will no longer be accepted at the DPW highway garage and must instead be brought to the transfer station with the following disposal fees:

$4.00 for each car tire with or without rim

$8.00 for each truck tire with or without rim

$30.00 for each heavy equipment tire with or without rim

$5.00 cost for a recycling bin

The new fees were approved.

Motion: Approve the new transfer station fees.

Motion: Tom Gaudreau Seconded: John Livingstone Vote: 4-0-0.
