The Provincetown Harbormasters office is updating the mooring field map of Provincetown Harbor. Pursuant to Provincetown Harbor Regulation 2-3-3, moorings not renewed by April 15^th of this year are considered abandoned and the space may be issued to another permit applicant. A grace period for compliance will be provided until September 15^th, after which this office may take additional measures to clear and re-assign the space.

During this period, any mooring that this office has questions about will be marked with a bright green numbered warning buoy. If your mooring is tagged, note the number and call or visit the Harbormasters office on MacMillan Pier (508) 487-7030 with the number of that warning buoy during normal business hours before September 15, 2005. You may be required to provide additional information, inspect or properly label the mooring or pay past due permit fees.
