Public Notice of Slip Availability

MacMillan Pier has a several slips available for new applicants due to non-renewal of previous tenants in the floating docks for vessels up to 45 feet. Application forms may be picked up at the Harbormaster’s Office. Completed applications must be returned to the Harbormaster’s Office by May 15, 2008 with copies of registration and commercial fishing permits if applicable.

Spaces will be assigned based on the scoring system used for the commercial fishers. Those criteria are weighted toward commercially registered boats, number of permits held, insurance and activity. In the event more applications are received then spaces available, a waiting list will be created from the remaining applicants. In the event commercial fishers do not fill the facility, Special Condition 23 will control the assignments
