Town of Provincetown Delivery Regulations

Pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 9-11-1 of the Provincetown General By-laws, Delivery Regulations on Commercial Street are in effect April 1, 2007. Said Delivery Regulations are in effect from April 1st until October 31st of each year.

All deliveries on Commercial Street, between the cross streets of Pearl St. and Central St. must be off Commercial Street by 11:00 AM. Alternate unloading zones must be used after 11:00 AM.

Alternate Unloading Zones

1. Center of Johnson Street Parking Lot

2. 90' at Guardrail on West Side of Ryder Street Extension, Adjacent to Cabral's Wharf

3. 80' on East Side of Standish St., Corner of Commercial St. and Standish St. (11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Only)

Non - Criminal Violations

Pursuant to Provincetown General By-law Chapter 13, Section 13-3-2-1:

1st Offense - $100.00

2nd Offense - $200.00

3rd Offense - $300.00

It is imperative to adhere to these time restrictions on a daily basis, however, if extenuating circumstances occur to delay the deliveries in that area (such as a vehicle breakdown etc.) you must call the Police Department and receive permission from either the Chief of Police, or Parking Administrator to avoid receiving a citation.
