Provincetown Water and Sewer Board
Minutes of January 29th, 2003
3:10 p.m.
The Provincetown Water and Sewer Board was called to order by Chairman Jonathan Sinaiko. Present were: Board members, Anne Lord, Terry Siegel, Sacha Richter, Lucille Plante. Also in attendance were, D.P.W. Director Dave Guerten, Administrative assistant, Kathy Meads, Wayne Perry, Lou Briganti, Jean Mcknight of Kopelman and Paige. Others present were:
Mark White – Environmental Partners Group, Pat P__?_, Ryk Tyska, Sean O'Brien – Barnstable County Board of Health, Wayne Perry - Environmental Partners Group, Maxine Perry – Community Development, Jon Gilmore – Community Development, Eric Teittinen – Woodward & Curran, Brenda Morgan – Kopelman and Paige, P.C., Joy Ursillo, Ted Bailey – Resident Engineer, Steve Johnson – Metcalf and Eddy, John Warner - Assessor’s office, John Fitzgerald - Treasurer’s office, Sandra M. Turner-DPW
Business discussed was the clarification of the water and sewer boards’ role in the legal decision making guidelines involved with current and future sewer connections. Further information on easements on property owners in the sewer district was discussed.
Other business discussed was the importance of bringing all town boards together to reach a better understanding of the complexities of the sewer hook-ups and how to treat properties hooking up to the sewer concerning growth Other business discussed was the necessity of the board of health to deal with the blue dot delays.
The motion to adjourn was brought up by Jonathan Sinaiko, seconded by Lucille Plante, and the vote was 4-0.
