Call to Order

Mr. Sinaiko called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.

Flow Revisions

Mr. Faris presented flow revision for several properties. 

      226-228 Commercial St.  Mr. Knight moved, seconded by Mr. Sinaiko, to revise the flow from 3,630 gpd to 4,050 gpd, based on an inspection by the Health Agent on April 11, 2006.  The motion carried by vote of 3-0. 

      429-435 Commercial St.  Mr. Sinaiko moved, seconded by Mr. Knight, to revise the flow from 4,420 gpd to 4,690 gpd, based on an inspection by the Health Agent on May 16, 2006.  The motion carried by a vote of 3-0. 

      134 Commercial St.  Mr. Sinaiko moved, seconded by Mr. Richter, to revise the flow from 220 gpd to 235 gpd based on an inspection by the Health Agent on November 24, 2003.  The motion carried by a vote of 3-0.

Water Abatements

Ms. Michaud presented the following applications for abatement of water charges:

Mr. Faris presented the following applications for deferral of water use charges.  All applicants qualify for and have executed a deferral and recovery agreement.

Mr. Richter moved, seconded by Mr. Sinaiko, to grant the deferrals.  The motion carried by a vote of 3-0.

Approval of Minutes

Mr. Knight moved, seconded by Mr. Sinaiko, to approve the minutes of the meetings of April 26, 2006 as printed.  The motion carried by a vote of 3-0.

Other Business

Mr. Faris reported briefly on the facilitated wastewater meeting the Board of Selectmen held on May 22 regarding an expansion of the sewer system currently being studied.  Mr. Knight then moved, seconded by Mr. Sinaiko, that the Water & Sewer Board ask the Board of Health to review its rules and to issue revised criteria for sewer connections.  The motion carried by a vote of 3-0.  The Board then asked Mr. Knight to represent the Water & Sewer Board at public hearings on this matter held by the Board of Health.

Adjournment

There being no further business, Mr. Sinaiko moved, seconded by Mr. Richter, to adjourn the meeting.  The vote carried by a vote of 3-0, and the meeting was adjourned at 3:25 p.m.
