Provincetown Water and Sewer Board            

Minutes of May 14, 2003.

                               5:00 p.m.

 

 

 

 

The Provincetown Water and Sewer Board was called to order by acting Chairman Jonathan Sinaiko.  Present were: Board members, Anne Lord, Sacha Richter, and  Lucille Plante. Also in attendance were Joy Ursillo, Sean Obrien, Wayne Perry, and Ian Mcmillian.

 

First order of business was to accept revisions to the following properties as to their flow adjustments, these properties are: 

 

-385 Commercial St.

-522 Commercial St.

-350 Commercial St

-9-11 Carver St.

 

The motion to approve the revisions to the above properties was made by Lucille Plante, seconded by Jonathan Sinaiko.  The vote was 4-0.

The second order of business was to hear statements from Ian McMillan concerning the seating and flow for his property, and it was determined he would have to resolve his issue with the Board of Health before we could decide on any water and sewer matter.

 

The next order of business was to hear from Mr. Klien, the owner of 97 Bradford St.  The owner is asking for permission to opt out of the sewer if he decides to.  The Board decides to take more time to look at this issue.

 

The next order of business was to discuss a list of Town wide goals that the water and sewer board recommends. 

The following list of Goals were created at this meeting:

 

1)      Conservation of water town-wide, including radio water read.

a)      Including radio water reading meters.

b)      Enforcement of rules and regulations concerning town wide water conservation.

2)      Continue to pursue new sources of water

3)      Complete Phase 1 sewer

4)      Pursue and implement search for Phase 2 sewer, and target priorities

 

The made motion by Jon Sinaiko was to adjourn at 6:10pm and the motion was seconded by Lucille Plante. The vote was 4-0.
