The Provincetown Water and Sewer Board was called to order by Chairman Jonathan Sinaiko.  Present were: Board members, Anne Lord, Lucille Plante, and Sacha Richter. Also in attendance were, Wayne Perry, Administrative assistant, Kathy Meads, Water superintendent, Lou Briganti, and members of the public.

First order of business was to expedite application for an abatement for the Pilgrim Colony Motel of Provincetown.  Motion was made by Lucille Plante to expedite an abatement for this property, Anne Lord seconded it and the vote was 4-0.

Jim McGowen raised concerns about liens on properties that are hooking up to the sewer.  The board could not further help to clarify this issue until it receives more info on this matter from town counsel.

Other business discussed was information concerning a  public statement from Lisa Pacheco.  Lisa Pacheco requested that the board hear her situation and allow her building to opt out of the owner’s commitment to the sewer due to the fact that they now have a functioning Title 5 and that the new owners were not notified of the commitment to the sewer.  The board stated that they would not make a decision at the hearing but Wayne Perry said he would See what he could do about delaying the scheduled early hook up for that property until the board meets on this matter.

A motion was made by Anne Lord to approve corrections to sewer rules and regulations.  Sacha Richter seconds the motion and the vote is 4-0.

Jonathan Sinaiko makes a motion to adjourn and Anne Lord seconds it and the vote is 4-0.

Meeting adjourns at 6:45pm.
