Provincetown Water and Sewer Board            

Minutes of January 9, 2003

 

                               5:00 p.m.

 

 

 

 

The Provincetown Water and Sewer Board was called to order by acting Chairman Jonathan Sinaiko.  Present were: Board members, Anne Lord, Terry Siegel, Sacha Richter, and Lucille Plant.  Also in attendance were D.P.W. Director Dave Guerton, Administrative assistant, Water Superintendent Lou Brigante, Chairman of Truro Board of Health, Gary Palmer, and Banner reporter Mary Anne Bragg.

 

A motion was made by Jonathan Sinaiko to have David Guerton to draft an ordinance to present to the selectmen concerning measures needed to deal with emergency water needs in the center of town, in the case of a fire.  The vote to accept the motion was 5-0.

 

Business discussed was the ink dye program, which was reported that nothing has been done yet due to too many attachments. 

 

Next order of business was the review and approval of the minutes of November 26, 2002.  Anne Lord makes the motion to accept them, Jonathan seconds the motion, and the vote is 5-0.

 

Jonathan Sinaiko will draw up and submit the year end town meeting report concerning the Water and Sewer Board.

 

Other business discussed was a possible future meeting with David Del Porto of the Ecological Engineering Group.

 

The motion to adjourn was brought up by Jonathan Sinaiko, seconded by Lucille Plante and the vote was 5-0.
