Provincetown Water and Sewer Board

Minutes of July 18, 2002

5:00 p.m.

The Provincetown Water and Sewer Board was called to order by acting Chairman Jonathan Sinaiko. Present were: Board members, Anne Lord, Terry Siegel, Sacha Richter, Lucille Plante. Also in attendance were D.P.W. Director Dave Guerten, Administrative assistant, Kathy Meads, and Mr. And Mrs. Van Ryder.

Business discussed was a very high water leak on the property of Mr. And Mrs. Van Ryder of Provincetown, MA. It was decided by the Board to move to a further finding while the water department continues to go through a process of fact-finding concerning the large water leak on the Van Ryder’s property.

Other business discussed was the Certified list of sewer hook-ups for the town of Provincetown. It was requested of the water and sewer board that we confirm the list. Anne makes the motion that we confirm the list. Terry seconds it and the vote is 5-0. Also discussed was the topic of phase 2 and the funding request to study phase 2. Lucille makes a motion to accept both of these requests, and Terry seconds the motion and the vote is 5-0.

Business discussed was the review and approval of the minutes of June 27th, 2002. Anne Lord makes the motion to accept them, Jonathan seconds the motion, and the vote is 3 for it and 1 abstention.

The motion to adjourn was brought up by Jonathan Sinaiko, seconded by Anne Lord and the vote was 5-0.
