Minutes from 2/23/99 Shellfish Committee Meeting

Meeting called to order at 4:00 p.m. on February 25, 1999 at Harbormaster’s office, McMillan Pier. Exofficiaos Dave Dittachio and Tony Jackett were present. Members Dan Notaro, Frank Foley and Sarah Robin were present as well.  Members Bob White and Bob Canterberry were not present and did not inform the board that they would not be able to attend.

 

First order of business was reading of previous minutes. A copy of minutes was not present.  This activity waived. Minutes will be read at the next meeting.

 

Secondly, motion made by Frank Foley to contact Bob Canterberry and reference his intent with Shellfish Committee as he has missed three consecutive meetings in which no formal notification was attempted.  Motion seconded by Dan Notaro and carried. Frank will contact Bob.

 

Old Business

Motion made by Frank Foley to find out from Selectmen  if grantee can work lease area (grant) for the remainder of grant period after grantee has given up domicile in Provincetown.  Seconded by Sarah Robin and carried.

 

Tony was asked to bring in list of present grant holders for next meeting.

 

At 5:35p.m. Frank motioned to adjourn, seconded by Dan and carried.

Next meeting will be held on March 2nd  at 4:30 in Marine Superintendent’s Office on McMillan Wharf.
