A general discussion of performance standards was held.  It was decided that the committee members would read over the old regulations and make suggestions as to ways to insure that grantees would be made to feel more responsible for their grants.

It was also suggested that shellfish records, such as catch reports, maps and other information be compiled and centrally located so that they were easier for people to obtain.

The next order of business was the nomination of Committee Officers.  The position of Chairperson and Secretary/Clerk both needed to be filled. Frank Foley was nominated for the position of Chairperson.  Motion was made and carried.  Sarah Robin was nominated to the position of Secretary/Clerk. This motion was also seconded and carried.

At this point in the meeting the committee decided to change the time and location of meetings from 5:30 p.m. in the town hall to 4:15 p.m. at the Harbormasters Office on the wharf.  The meeting would still be held on the 1st Tuesday of the month. This motion was made and carried.

At 6:30 p.m., a motion was made to adjourn the meeting.  This motion was seconded and carried.
