Advisory Committee Meeting

Called to Order 5:10 pm. Members present: Mel Cote, Alex Brown (Chair), Paul Tasha, John Baldwin (Sec.) Tony Jackett (Shellfish Constable)

Constable’s Report:

Proposed survey of Hatches Harbor and Herring Cove by Mass. Division of Marine Fisheries didn’t happen because of the red tide outbreak .

Proposed NOAA Grant should help in gaining regionalization with Truro from the Commonwealth. MOTION by John Baldwin to write a letter of support for NOAA Grant Proposal.

Seconded by Mel Cote. Discussion. VOTED 4-0 to send letter of support. (See attachment).

Other Business:

Discussion by Paul Tasha concerning the American Eel. It’s the sole fin fish under the purview of this committee.

MOTION to Adjourn by John Baldwin. Seconded by Mel Cote. VOTED 4-0 to adjourn 6:19 pm.
