Old Business:

Mission Statement needs to be changed.  Too late to be put on warrant for this years annual town meeting.  Commission should work on it and put it on the warrant for either the fall or the following spring.

New Business:

4th of July Parade: Bob Littlefield provided an update from the 4th of July task force, and solicited help from the board. Ideas of the summer staff, national honor society were suggested.  Cass, and Susan volunteered to marshal.

BBQ after parade is a lot of work for the department; Tracy and other members of the task force have been looking for a group to take this event over.  David suggested turning it into a huge event run by the rec department.  The BBQ issue will be revisited this winter.

Garbage can project set for March 24th all week from 10:00a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CC will provide supplies.

Rec Commission members would like to sit in on the interviews for the new assistant director after town meeting is finished.  The job has been posted.  Bronwyn and Susan volunteered.
