Minutes of January 9, 2007

Call to order: 6:00

Directors Report: Basketball season started, so far so good.

Weight Room: new equipment Commission would like a thank you written to DPW/HWY dept as well as others who helped get the equipment here.

Teen Night Fridays 6-10pm fairly well attended, discussion ensued re: whether or not it should be Saturday night as well. No decision rendered.

New Programs: Toddler Group MWF 2:30-4:30. Adult Volleyball Tuesdays 7:00 PHS. Knitting: Looking for someone who might be able to teach it, David and Jill both said they would ask people they knew of who knitted if they would be interested. Pilates and kickboxing are being researched, the commission suggested chess, checkers, backgammon and other board games.

Sponge Bob Party February 17^th time was discussed but not decided upon.

Trash Can Art Update :Jill volunteered to speak to Peter Macara to help out as a mentor artist.

New Business: Foozeball table donation: donors looking for a vote from the commission on value for tax purposes. Commission voted to accept donation of the foozeball table, and valued the donation at $300.00 Motioned by Treg, Second by David : Motion carried 5-0 Gym equipment donation: Commission voted to accept the gym equipment donated by Mike Boyle, valued at $300.00, Treg motioned, Cass Second: Motion carries 5-0

Mission Statement: discussed, have requested more information from the director

4^th of July: discussed, no volunteers at this time.
