“The Provincetown Recreation Department has a zero tolerance for harassment and bullying.  The department will work in close partnership with the school by sharing information and giving the administration full authority to suspend recreational activities from any student whose conduct breaks the school policy regarding harassment and bullying.  If a student is called into the principal’s office at any time during the week the student/athlete will be suspended from playing in the next scheduled game.  Two suspensions will result in suspension from the team for the season.  It is recognized that recreation activities are a privilege and not a right.  Any student who is participating in harassment or bullying will be removed from the activity immediately.  This policy will be in effect for all sports seasons, and other activities sponsored by the recreation department.”
