Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes 8/26/03

6:30 Meeting called to order by Candy Silva.

I. Members present: Candy Silva, Jill Macara, Robert Cahill, Treg

Kaesilau and Dennis Clark.

II. Public Statement: Sandy Turner and Wayne Perry came to discuss our plans on the laying of cement, what we need to think about and how to go about it. They will meet with Greg Morris this week to arrange the final plan for laying the cement.

III. New Business: We discussed more ideas on raising money for

Skate Park. Jill will go back to Board Stiff to ask for a donation.

IV. Old Business: Recreation summer program has ended and will

Start discussing Teen night and other activities for winter. Treg

Will bring skate park logo to next meeting.
