Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes 6/3/03

 

 

6:30         Meeting called to order by Candy Silva

 

                Members present:  Robert Cahill, Dawn Henrique, Treg Kaesilau,

                Jill Macara, Candy Silva, and Dennis Clark.

 

    I.         Public Statement:

Ben Buffa attended the meeting and will begin fundraising for the skate park. He will start by sending 2000 letters 250 per week. He will be in town on Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s. We discussed other fundraising ideas, need more information from Ben.

 

II.       New Business:

           Dennis met with engineers about a new plan to accommodate the

              well within the skate park area. They will get back to us as soon as

              soon as new plan is ready. He spoke with David Gurtin about a

              tentative date for the removal of the waste water equipment on the

              removal of the waste water equipment on the skate park area and

              was given a date of August 31st.
