Annual Report - Draft

A motion was made to accept the draft as written subject to tweaking by chair and Rex.

George Hitchcock: Courtesy Float Policy needs to be clarified and made public before the summer starts. No Commercial activity per current regs.
Rex McKinsey: To provide the existing rules for the next meeting.
George Hitchcock: An annual maintenance report per BoS request. We should get an estimate in advance from an engineer to see what the cost is.
Rex McKinsey: To investigate and bring back to next meeting.
Lee Ash: Appreciated John Santos’ comments on the courtesy float. Would like to see more community involvement.
Kerry Adams: Will wait for the sign subcommittee report.
Phil Tarvers: Concerned that someone who is not satisfied with our answers and have gone to the BoS. Do the BoS have a right to have a public hearing on something that we have yet to have an opportunity to rule on ? The BoS are out of line. It’s quite upsetting. Having the BoS call us in to tell us how to do our job.
Len Clingham: We are an autonomous board. We can take the BoS under advisement but by no means do we have to follow their instructions.
