Rex McKinsey introduced Special Guest Don Murphy (Schooner Race).
Don Murphy: Explained what is involved in the Schooner Race. The race is easy to set up. The challenge is the registration of boats, mooring assignments, reception, Crew Breakfast, Awards Dinner. It all comes down to money. Currently no one has stepped up to the plate to plan any of the secondary events to the race at this time.
Susan Avellar: it is the Centennial of the Rose Dorothea and would be upset if the race did not occur.
Phil Tarvers requested to have this topic on the next meeting agenda.
A motion was made to accept the minutes as amended.

George Hitchcock: Does not understand accounting discussion scheduled under New Business and does not want to bring this up at this time. Feels that the pine for the pavilion needs to be sealed prior to installation.
