George Hitchcock: Talked with Sandy Silva in regards
to what her fee will be this year and if she is required to provide her own
shed. Tried to contact Miss Fox at the
school and has not gotten a call back.
Maybe we should look in a different direction.
Lee Ash: As she read through the insert in this weeks Banner it occurred as the election happens that we should host something for the new BoS members to show them what we do.
Len Clingham: Agrees as well in this regard.
Kerry Adams: Thanked everyone for getting out on time last week. Had a couple of meetings with Rex and John on the sign sub-committee as well as the trap shed committee.
Phil Tarvers: Talking to Candace Nagle today about the wave attenuator. Interested in joining a sub-committee to help gather information and apply for grant money. Evidently there are a number of places that use wave attenuators. Offered to work with Candace to investigate the different kinds of wave attenuators available.
Len Clingham: Accepted Phil Tarver’s offer to work with Candace on a wave attenuator fact-finding sub-committee.
Phil Tarvers: Concerned with the design of the handicap ramps.
Rex McKinsey: Met with the building inspector with a change of the drawn plans because the ramp sticks to far out into the roadway. The yellow post and curb cut should still proceed.
Ferry Terminal/Bathroom Operations Discussed.
Heat Trace ideas discussed. Need to find a facilities engineer to provide alternative ideas.
Trap Sheds and Retail
Discussion of RFP for sheds.
Lee Ash: Time frames involved. We can tweak the rents for the 1st season if the time line does not allow for the RFP process for the shed usage.
George Hitchcock: Do we have to wait to go ahead with this?
Rex McKinsey: Wants quotes in by May 4th, deadline for completion is June 15th.
A motion was made to publish the Trap Shed Request for Quotes as written by Rex with the removal of the last sentence and completion changed to ASAP.
Motion: Kerry Adams Second: George Hitchcock
Discussion
George Hitchcock: Requested IA standards be used in quotes. To be explained to staff later.
Len Clingham: If someone has a connection with PAAM or the Fine Arts center to contact them.
John Davidson: Lisa Bowen, Cultural Development to contact Len Clingham
George Hitchcock: Kevin Foley has someone who does scrimshaw interested in a booth.

Kerry Adams: Suggest that we invite her to come to one of our meetings so that she can state her case.
