Meeting Minutes

March 28, 2005

Attendees: Paul de Ruyter, George Hitchcock, Lee Ash and John Baldwin

Excused Absence: Chip Bradish

Other Attendees: Rex McKinsey, Pier Manager

De Ruyter calls meeting to order at 6:24 PM.

Discussion of lease ensues in preparation of joint meeting with BoS.

Move that the Provincetown Public Pier Corporation vote pursuant to Chapter 13 of the Acts of 2000 as amended, to enter into a twenty-year lease for MacMillan Pier with the Provincetown Board of Selectmen as written upon full execution of lease as drafted.

Motion: Lee Ash Second: George Hitchcock 4-0

Move that the Provincetown Public Pier Corporation vote, pursuant to Chapter 13 of the Acts of 2000 as amended, to enter into a five-year marine management services agreement with the Board of Selectmen as written adding attachment B, memo of February 24, 2005 as amended.

Motion: George Hitchcock Second: Lee Ash 4-0

Meeting recessed at 6:50 until reconvening in Joint Meeting with BoS.

Joint meeting starts at 7:20 PM

Brief discussion ensues prior to BoS vote. De Ruyter provides introduction and memo of February 24, 2005 as attachment B to management services proposal.

BoS votes to approve lease and then management services agreement subject to final approval of Town Counsel as to wording for the sake of clarity on attachment to marine services agreement by vote of 2-1, Couture voting against on philosophical reasons.
