Meeting called to order at 7 p.m.

 

Public Hearing

Case #2006-13 Site Plan Review

Application by Jeanne Leszczynski, under Article 2, Section 2320 of the Zoning Bylaw, High Elevation Protection District B. The applicant seeks Site Plan approval for the addition of a dormer and screen porches at the property located at 23 Pilgrim Heights Road (Res1 Zone).

Present on behalf of the above case were: Tom Thompson, John DeSouza, Reggie Donohue, (Coastal Engineering) representing applicants, Jeanne Leszczynski and Diane DiCarlo, applicants.

Abutter notification cards were submitted. It was pointed out the proposed plan will not increase height of current structure.

Howard Burchman read an e-mail from Bill Sandie of 22 Pilgrim Heights Road who had no objections to proposal. Local home owner association has signed off in support of this plan. Board would like to do a site visit on November 15, 2006. Applicants were concerned that this not delay construction.

Motion: To continue this case to November 15, 2006 after a site visit is conducted at 3:45 p.m.

Approval Not Required

John McElwee of Felco, Inc. on behalf of Catherine Kelly to divide one large parcel of land into six buildable lots at the property located at 55 West Vine Street.

Victor DePaulo came before the board requesting a site visit at 175 Bradford Street Extension prior to the December 6, 2006 meeting of which he is on the agenda.

 

General discussion on proposed Zoning By-law changes

Martha Hevenor of the Cape Cod Commission was present. Doug Taylor reported that he has been getting feedback from townspeople about the need to rewrite some of the Zoning By-laws. This will be discussed further at the December 6, 2006 meeting.
