was called to order at 5 p.m.
Case
#2006-01 Site Plan Review (continued from January 4, 2006)
Application by Neal Kimball on behalf of Shawn
Nightingale, under Article 2, Section 2320 of the Zoning Bylaw, High
Elevation Protection District A. The applicant seeks Site Plan approval to add
a half story to an existing two-story structure at the property located at 54
Mayflower Avenue (Res1 Zone).
Abutter notification cards and additional photos were
submitted by Neal Kimball who also stated that he and applicant anticipated ZBA
approval.
Anne Howard stated that she was concerned about
interruption to scenic vista. She doesn’t think surrounding vegetation will cover
the addition and is worried about setting a precedent. Ellen Battaglini and
Kevin Rich voiced similar concerns. Howard Burchman thinks it is an
architecturally interesting structure and that the scenic vista in question is
not all that pristine to begin with. Doug Taylor stated that he did not think
addition would be detrimental to town.
Anne Howard was still not sold on the addition stating
that the perceived need by applicant for the addition didn’t impress her.
Kevin Rich made a motion to approve site plan as
submitted. Ellen Battaglini seconded and it passed 3:0:1.

January 4, 2006. Ellen Battaglini seconded and it passed 3:0:1.
Motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
