I.  Land Bank Update

Celine stated that Land Bank funds are still available because state legislature has not passed legislation to take 35% of the funds for affordable housing. Therefore the committee will begin to review properties at the next meeting for possible purchase.

Other Projects: We will continue with the restoration plan for Shankpainter Uplands.

                                   - We will review plans for rezoning of Route 6 property which is to be transferred from the State.

                                    - We will begin implementation of signage plans for all properties.

                                    - We will focus on updating the Open Space Plan

II. Discussion of Route 6 rezoning plans

Asst. Town Manager Mark LaTour joined the meeting. He stated that rezoning plans are currently focused only on the “Site Y” portion which is being considered for the site of a new Manor nursing home. He showed us site plans of three of the four proposals for that property.  The committee expressed concern that all three plans showed access by the former railroad bed which is conservation restricted.

Next meeting will be in January. A date was not set.

Meeting adjourned at 4:25 p.m..

                                                Respectfully submitted,
