reported on the last two meetings of the Open Space Steering Committee
4.
Discussion
of the letter that Robin Evans has written as per previous discussion to send
to our state representatives regarding the home rule petition to use larger
percent of Land Bank Funds for affordable housing. The committee suggested
sending a copy to MASS PIRG also. Barbara Sullivan had not been at a previous
meeting discussing the letter however after Robin read the letter, Barbara
Sullivan said she would endorse it as well. The letter needs to be typed, then
signed and mailed.
5.
Committee
discussed exploring the possibility of preserving land on West Vine now owned
as a stable. Barbara Sullivan will make some contacts.
