Minutes of October 6, 2000 Open Space Committee

Celine Gandolfo,ctober 6, 2000 was called to order at 9:05 AM by

Co-Chair. Also present were Fred Berger, Robin Evans and Hatty

Walker Fitts.

Celine gave an update on the status of the negotiations for the

Locke Property. There was a general discussion of the various

options that might be available for getting funds for the

purchase, and the tools necessary to do so.

A motion was made by Robin Evans, seconded by Hatty Walker Fitts,

vote of 4-0-0 in favor by Fred Berger, Robin Evans, Celine With a

Gandolfo, and Hatty Walker Fitts, the motion passed.

A motion was made by Robin Evans, seconded by Hatty Walker Fits,

to approach the Town to use some of the monies approved at the

April 2000 Town meeting, Article 20, for appraisal update and

Robin Evans, Celine Gandolfo and Hatty Walker Fitts, the motion

passed.
