Meeting called to order by Celine Gandolfo, Co-chair at 7.05PM

1.Locke Property update:

OSC apprised of recent discussion between Mr. Locke and his

neighbors which may produce an agreement. No details offered, no

amount set as of this date.

Reminder noted that all funds for purchase must be in place by

12/29/00

2. Request letter to Selectman for Barnstable county Surplus

Committee members requested to be present at Selectmen’s meeting

on 9/25/00.

Suggestion to invite DPW director to next meeting to discuss

restoration of dune with use of compost material.

4. Robin relayed discussion with Tennis club and their

conservation restriction application. Will talk with assessors

office re tax on their wetland. Club reported they were told they

were not being taxed on wetlands on their property.

5. Robin suggested meeting with the PCT to further discussions of

town-wide conservation plan.

6. Request by committee that Mark Latour act as OSC’s laison to

town government in light of Kenneth Learned retirement from his

position from his job with town government and also being our

previous laison with town government.

7.. Motion by Robin Evans to continue meeting until Thursday

Celine Gandolfo, Robin Evans, Fred Berger and Barbara Sullivan;.

Motion passes.

$1.48 P & S for Locke Property. Application reviewed. Motion by

Celine to approve, Barbara Sullivan seconded. A vote in favor 3-0

by Barbara Sullivan, Celine Gandolfo and Robin Evans.

Request for Barnstable County Funds surplus letter received.

Celine seconded motion. There was a 3-0 vote in favor by Barbara,

Sullivan, Celine Gandolfo and Robin Evans, the motion passed.

light of market value for house lots. Barbara made motion, Robin

seconded and there was a vote in favor 3-0 by Barbara Sullivan,

Celine Gandolfo and Robin Evans, the motion passed.
