Meeting called to order at 7:15 p.m. by Celine Gandolfo, Co-Chair.
Present were Ms. Gandolfo, Robin Evans, Fred Berger, and Barbara Sullivan.

Minutes of 4-26 meeting approved.
Barbara reported on letters sent to foundations requesting grants toward purchase of the Locke property. To date, three responses were received of 38 request. None offered money.
Robin reported on a bill in Congress which would provide funds for land purchases. Robin will follow up. Robin and Barbara plan to meet with Rep Shirley Gomes in Provincetown on May 12 to discuss funding issues.
Locke Property - there has been no recent communication with Mr.. Locke. The Cape Cod Commission has not completed its review of the property. The committee discussed how we could get specific information on what tax savings the Locke family could incur by selling at below market value. The committee will ask the Town Manager to request such information from town staff. The committee will contact Mr.. Locke to update him on our activities related to the purchase.
Robin will contact the Trustees of Reservation for suggestion on how to proceed with our fundraising for the Locke Property.
A committee member will attend the next meeting to the Provincetown Conservation Commission to inform them of our work.
Shankpainter Property - There is no gate or sign at the entrance to the property. Robin will talk to David Guertin regarding this. No further planting or reconstruction will be done until the fall.
We discussed Olga Ghee's request that we look at purchasing a trail adjacent to the Hawthorne School of Art and Outer Cape Health Center which is currently owned by Ken Weiss. Fred will invite her to our next meeting.
