OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE MEETING

April 12, 2005

Meeting called to order 1:15PM in David Guertin's office

Members present: Ron, Celine, Robin

Shankpainter update:

Recent meeting with Steven Spears of USDA for recommendations for revegetation successful.

Review of handicap parking and access to trail made from 5' wide decking with revegetation on sides using screened topsoil from transfer station.

Revegetation on access road and cul-de-sac trail per USDA recommendations. Americorp will plant in mid-May.

Obs deck--to be built with composite material. Bldg permit required. To accomplish work, two possibilities: contractor or DPW resources.

Work session continued on site with Celine, Ron, DPW and members of the Disability Commission
