OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE MEETING

Old Business

Meeting with Town Manager to discuss articles for Town Warrant.

Keith suggested requesting 25,000$ funding for pre-acqusition costs. To ask Special Town Meeting for sum to begin initiative for number of lands being explored: pre-acqusition fund would be used to clear titles, etc.Would be taken from Land Bank fund.

Motion to request Town Manager to draft articles on:

a. Welles property , 82 Harry Kemp,contingent on title search, authorizing vote of 125,000$ purchase price.

b. 25,000$ apropriation for land pre-acquisition costs.

Steve initiated motion, Celine seconded. Vote unanimous

Motion to meet with Selectmen to ask to indefinitely postpone

abandonment of Browne St Ext. Robin initiated, Steve seconded.

Vote unanimous.
