Old Business

Review of questionnaire/survey of Town Visioning Process. Suggestions noted. Reviewed questions used in Open Space and Recreation Plan 1995..

Break down sections on survey to four components of Visioning Process (i.e. transportation, economics, etc)

To finalize OSC contribution to questionnaire at next meeting.

New Business:

Discussion of Snow property. Meets guidelines suggested by Jan

30th forum to purchase land abutting currently held conservation land, in this case Shankpainter Pond and PCT holdings. Property on market at present.

Three parcels, one of which includes oldest house in PTown. Discussion of possible collaboration with Historic Committee.

Motion to contact with lawyer handling Snow property

to assess feasibility of purchasing this 3 parcels/1+ acre site. Motion

initiated by Steve, seconded by Celine. Unanimous vote.

Motion to initiate article for Town Meeting to keep Brown St Ext

open as public footpath as suggested at public forum. Motion initiated by Robin, seconded by Steve. Vote unanimous.

Motion to research the possibility of using Land Bank funds to hire

wetlands biologist to catalogue wetlands, vernal pools, etc throughout town.

To contact Mark Robinson and Town Manager.

Motion initiated by Robin, seconded by Celine. Vote unanimous.

Meeting with ConCom and PCT 2/26 to discuss updating 1995 Open

Space Plan.

Meeting 2/11 to further discuss suggestions and land acquisition

ideas from forum of 1/30 and west end walk of 2/4.
