OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE MEETING

Meeting called to order 10AM

New Business:
   Meeting with Gary. Cart paths reviewed. Connections from abandoned Browne St Way, Meadows Motel, Shankpainter Pond and National Seashore.
          To continue discussion in the field Jan 28th 11AM to walk paths
              and determine feasabilities.

Old Business:
    Minutes: approved by unanimous vote (Steve initiated, Celine seconded) minutes from meetings  9/23/2003,10/13/2003,12/9/2003

     Visioning Process: discussed need to update Open Space Plan.
         Next Town Visioning meeting Feb 12. OSC to offer                                 recommendations on properties to protect.
          Suggestion to advertise and hold pubic meeting to gather
          information from different neighborhoods in town. Plan to
          meet Friday,1/30.

     Meeting planned for 2/5 to collaborate information from meeting  1/28  and 1/30. also to work on Town-wide survey.

    Budget reveiw: discussion of budget proposal as set forth by Town
       Manager. Celine to attend Selectmen's meeting 1/22 to hear its
       presentation.
