Meeting was called to order at 9:05
(1) No public statemenst were given.
(2)Minutes of the April 25th meeting were circulated and approved as
submitted.
(3) New Business: Michael Bunn will send the minutes of our special PLHP meeting to Barbara for submission to the Town Clerk. Included in the minutes will be the recipients of last night lottery of new homes at 35 Conwell Street.
West Vine Decision: The PLHP has been notified by Building Inspectorm Warren Alexander (letter on file) that an affordable permit may be allowed at the West Vine (Ron Reil) address.
Harry Kemp Development: The PLHP has also been notified by developer Ken Weiss that the reason for the delay on the affordable unit construction at White Pines is due to State acceptance and comment on the septic design. The reason stated is that the septic design for the "regular" units and the design for the affordable building need to be researched.
Clem and Debbie: No further developments. Still hopeful for relief.
June 20th Meeting: The PLHP will focus on development of training sessions for first time (affordable) home owners. Hopefully a series of seminars will take place in the fall.
Change of Meeting Schedule: As of June 1st the LPHP will be meeting on a monthly basis with the meetings being help on the third Tuesday of the month at 8:00 a.m. at the Grace Goveia Building.
Motion to Support Change
of Bedroom-size Permits at 35 Conwell Street:
Motion was made by Michael Bunn to support the request of Community
Housing Resources, Inc. to alter the mix of bedroom dwellings from Three,
two bedroom and one, one bedroom to three, one bedroom and one, two bedroom.
Motion was seconded by Tim Hazel and all approved.
