OLD BUSINESS:
Post Town Meeting, we discussed the need for our further discussion of the new growth management by-law. As the by-law will be visited annually, we need to work on a few areas of concern for next year's presentation at Town Meeting.

M.B. reported that, due to the fact that Habitat for Humanity will not be beginning their construction until the fall, gaedens will be allowed this summer in that space.

Laura Shufelt reported that "appears" to be new sources of funding for the Clem and Deb construction on Shank Painter Road.Seems that the Mass. Housing Partnership and Property Casualty Insurance will oversee the situation and will make it happen. The County will come in with 50%.

NEW BUSINESS:

Ron Reil presented a proposal (attached) to make 56B West Vine into an affordable unit. The LPHP asked Mr. Reil to submit to the Partnership a list of questions he needed answered and we would promptly reply. The LPHP has presented the issue to Warren Alexander and Judith Oset for a written opinion which should be returned to the LPHP by next meeting (5/9)

Ted Malone reported on  the upcoming 5/8 lottery for 35 Conwell Street. Due to the overwhlming confusion and time required by applicants to process, Mr. Malone said that only one (one bedroom condo) was ready for selection.  So, a "lottery for this unit has been set for Monday, May 8, 2000 at 6:00 at Town Hall. The selection will take place at a special meeting of the LPHP. The meeting will also feature a discussion of the process and need for a training session for future applicants.
