Members Absence: Mellissa Jones and Scott Campbell- Excused absence

 

March 12, 2007 meeting was cancelled

 

6 Sandy Hill Lane-Affordable Housing project.

 

A.J.- Recused himself. 

 

Cassandra Benson and Gerry Anathan are developing an affordable housing project at this location.  The applicants are converting an existing 12-unit motel to 12 residential affordable housing dwelling units.

 

 They are proposing 33%-affordable; 66% median income.

 

Maxine to check on language under affordable; 1A; 1B; 1C

Criteria-does LHP still award allocation for 1 B’s + 1 C’s?

 

Tim hazel said the monthly housing costs should be 1/3 of a persons come.

 

Gerry Anathan said there is a condo fee budget.

 

The difference between the 450 sq. ft. and 600 sq. ft. is the larger unit might have an artist studio included but that is not definite yet.

 

Tim Hazel moved to approve the proposed project contingent on all regulatory approvals, as well as compleition for all other submissions before the board can recognize final approval.

 

Deed restrictions and full financing shall be in place.

Voted:             Unanimously 3-0-1(AJ)

 

Next meeting April 12th @ 9:00 A.M.

Article 8 on Warrant-please put word out to support article 8.

 

The Planning Board were given the task to strengthen 4170.
