PHA members present: Arturo Alon,
Margaret Carroll-Bergman, and Patrick Manning
Joint meeting
called to order at 9:00 a.m.
Joint meeting with the Provincetown Housing Authority to discuss Affordable Housing Job Description
Board members
discussed the specifications for a Housing Specialist. .
The two groups
focused on the funding of a position.
Should the position be part-time or full-time? Who will supervise this individual?
Patrick Manning
asked how the funding would work. These
might be questions for Town Counsel.
Maxine Notaro asked
if this position could be considered under contract services to first determine
the need for part-time or full-time.
Doug Taylor said
the individual could be housed in the Department of Community Development
supervised by the Building Commissioner.
Arturo Alon said it
could be a full-time position hired by the Local Housing Partnership,
Provincetown Housing Authority and the Community Preservation Committee and
hopefully sheltered in the building department.
Salary range for
full-time would be mid forty thousand dollar range.
Moved by Scott
Campbell to recommend to the Provincetown Housing Authority to fund an
Affordable Housing Specialist for one year under contracted services for
$45,000.00

Voted unanimously.
Motion by Scott
Campbell to adjourn the meeting at 10:45 a.m.
