Meeting: Working session meeting opened by Chair at 9:00 a.m..
Minutes: Affordable Housing Work Group postponed until Wednesday. Local Housing Partnership discussed suggestions to Provincetown housing Authority regarding policies and procedures for use of Land Bank Trust Funds.
Mark Latour, Director of Community Development, requested Local Housing Partnership to formally vote to co-sponsor several affordable housing related articles for the Town Meeting warrant.
Motion: made by Arturo Alon for support for increase in the portion of funds the Town receives from the Land Bank Act so that up to 35% can be allocated to affordable housing, seconded by Tim Hazel. Unanimous. So voted.
Motion: made by Arturo Alon to support a growth management article which increases the minimal affordable component of projects which get preference in the growth management queue from 25% to 33%. Seconded by Tim Hazel. Unanimous. So voted.
Motion: made by Arturo Alon to support related article which rewards developers who are increasing the affordable components of their mixed developments by allowing any unused gallonage from Category 2 for the market rate units of mixed developments) to be reallocated to Category 2 in the next year. Seconded by Scott Campbell. Unanimous. So voted.
Motion: Made by Arturo Alon to support Real Estate Transfer tax. Seconded by Scott Campbell. Unanimous. So voted.
