Absent: Len Bowen, Planning Board

Also Attending: Martha Hevenor, Cape Cod Commission, Warren Alexander, Building Commissioner and Mark LaTour, Assistant Town Manager

Meeting

Anne Howard called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM.

Mark LaTour handed out information from other Cape Cod towns regarding affordable housing, which was supplied by Keith Bergman, Town Manager. The information covered the Amnesty Program.

Martha Hevenor stated that she would check into how this plan works in Barnstable. She said that these laws could be “tweaked” to suit Provincetown.

Anne Howard will schedule a meeting with the Local Housing Partnership prior to the next meeting of the LCPIC and try to set up a meeting for September 11^th.

Martha Hevenor discussed, in more detail, her Work Plan of the July 9^th meeting of the LCPIC. She handed out a printed copy with these modifications and embellishments.

The members discussed each item and made comments or had questions for Ms. Hevenor.

The next joint meeting of the Planning Board and LCPIC will be September 18^th at 5:30 PM.

It was moved to adjourn the Joint Meeting at 7:00 PM.
