of the Town of Provincetown Licensing Board Special Public Meeting on Friday, July 29^th, 2005, at 12:00pm in the Judge Welsh Hearing Room, 260 Commercial Street.

Present: Hunter O'Hanian (Chairman), Irene Rabinowitz, Cassandra Benson, Richard McMasters and Elizabeth Hartsgrove (Licensing Agent)

Excused: Nick Robertson (Vice Chair and Clerk) and John Foley

Determination for Show Cause Hearing

Taxi Operator

1. Brett Thomas Jersey, Provincetown

Based on an email from Chief Meyer to the Licensing Agent, dated 07/25/05, the Chief requests revoking Mr. Jersey’s taxi operator license. None of the incidents occurred while operating a vehicle, however the chief feels the allegations are a high degree of public safety.

Hunter O’Hanian requests an opinion from Town Counsel regarding procedure on due process and whether a temporary suspension is possible.

Motion to hold a show cause hearing on Friday August 19^th, 2005 by Irene Rabinowitz Seconded by Cass Benson. Passed 4-0
