Discussion
1.
Gifford
House, 9-11 Carver St.
The
Licensing Board has reviewed the copy of the Agreement between the Thai Food
Restaurant and the Gifford House. There are still concerns. They are troubled
by the fact that the Gifford House assumes all responsibilities though a
non-Gifford House employee is handling the Beer and Wine. They suggest perhaps the restaurant seek
separate licenses of their own, or have only the Gifford house employees
handling the alcohol.
The
Gifford House agreed to have the Thai Food Restaurant’s customers go over to
the Gifford House’s bar for any and all types of alcoholic beverage and that no
non-Gifford house employee will be pouring or serving alcohol of any type.
Richard McMasters rejoined.
Correspondence
§
Code Compliance report – 06/14/05
The
Licensing Board is not satisfied with:
1. The amount, or lack of, detail of wording
in reports they receive,
2. Types of violations occurring that involve
the Licensing Board, and
3.
What types of reported
violations they are focused on.
The
Licensing Board requests to invite Chief Meyer to the next meeting to discuss
their concerns in regard to Code Compliance and enforcement on their part.
