1. Motion to approve March 3 minutes.
Moved: Knight Second: Dray Vote: 3-0-0
2. Tony Lemme came in to discuss Town Hall Doors, accompanied by Building Commissioner Doug Taylor. He has been receiving complaints from citizens that the doors are peeling and spotting despite being 6 years old. Wants to refinish them, and needs HC input. HC, Lemme, and Taylor went to examine doors and discussed the problems of marine environment on finishes.
Discussion of varnish versus paint, historical accuracy of using paint.
Lemme has said that original doors are stored in the Grace Gouveia building.
He will analyze the layers of paint per our request, so that an informed decision can be made. Will return to HC with results.
3. Discussion of CPC representative. Dray planning on resigning. Knight agree to represent.

4. Discussion of Cell Tower. Dray will talk to Town to find out status.
5. Discussion of Town Survey. Dray's students are underway in putting together resources. He would like to investigate getting some of our CPC funds to help improve the survey. Talk about reviewing a town-wide preservation plan.
6. Update of Historic photos. Burnell said that there is a copy of the photos made by John Dowd. She will make a second copy to be available to HC, and make sure that there is also a copy downstairs in Inspector's office. Will begin work on indexing the photos.
7. Discussion of the fate of Surplus Properties. Knight said that the first week of June is the meeting about the fate of surplus properties; Old Library, Firehouse, and Community Center. What happens with Prop 2 override vote will have some bearing on their fate. Knight will be present at this meeting.
8. Discussion of the next meeting agenda, including reviewing the draft of the Town Preservation Plan, cell tower update, surplus buildings update, status of Foley House funds, and development of a strategic plan.
