Ardis Markarian handed out copies of the Demolition Delay By-Law which will be discussed at a Public Meeting. A copy is attached.

Case #2002-014         Capizzi Home Improvement representing Cape Cod Resort Properties, 2 Winthrop Place [Map/Parcel 07-2-135; MHC #None; Historic Name: Sidehall Cottage; Date: 1840-60; Style: Greek Revival] Install new door, 6 windows, replace shingles; repair and replace railing and stairs.

 

Mike Hurley represented Capizzi Home Improvement. A motion was made to accept plan with details that all windows will be 2 over 1 with exterior applied muntins with profiles on outside; captured balustrades on stairway; basement door accepted as presented, front door will not be changed.

Nancy Hertig presented the case. A motion was made to accept with front façade to be clapboard; all other sides to be shingled.

A motion was made to accept plans as submitted. Captured balustrades 4-1/2 ” on center.

The Commission made a trip to the Crown & Anchor so they could see exactly what the plans meant. A motion was made only one center window would be changed into a double door to match existing one already on deck. Changes to rear of building accepted as submitted.
